After the removal of a magnificent silver maple which dominated this part of a Georgetown garden the owner wanted a place of tranquility to replicated the . A dark plastered pool reflects the surrounding foliage turning the water an emerald green color. An flagstone terrace surrounds the pool making a place of the pergola seating area. The entire composition is enclosed with a louvered painted wood fence that provided privacy while still allowing the movement of air.
